On December 16, 2019, students participating in the Business Protocol and Etiquette club under the leadership of Janeta Tsvetanova presented the traditions and customs in Bulgaria on Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year. The guests of the presentation were Mrs. Snezhana Taneva, Headmaster of the Knyaz Simeon Turnovski High School of Economics, Mrs. Zoya Mainalovska and Nellie Kalneva, Deputy Directors of the High School, Mrs. Nadezhda Koicheva Chief Accountant and teachers at the High School.
To make it more interesting, the students were embodied in different characters, such as Santa Claus, Snow White, Rudolph – the reindeer and dwarves.
There was also a table with vegetarian dishes typical for the Christmas Eve.
There was a presentation of the traditions and customs connected with the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations and a quiz with prizes. Santa Claus gave presents to everyone.
In the end, according to the tradition, the senior member of the group Mrs. Taneva was asked to break the Christmas bread. She wished everybody health, luck and happy holidays!
